User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Disappointed
bought this a few days ago, installed the battery (ER-P511) last night so it could get a full charge, and nothing, does not hold a charge at all. bought for a KX-TG2730 Cordless phone. Put the old battery back in and phone works fine, but of course the old NiCad battery GE 86400 is quick to lose the charge. I never return anything, but I have to return this, hope they dont give me any problems, I have been saying good things about Amazon. I will post a update on any problems.

5 Stars Excellent replacement battary
I have used similar battary for more than a year and it is very long lasting. It doesnot have any memory effect like NiCd battery so lasts very long in every charge. I am very happy with this battery.

1 Star Caution: Shipping Rip Off
Price is attractive, battery is excellent. BUT shipping charge is per battery. If you only need one battery, fine, but when the shipping charge at checkout is needlessly excessive, it tells me to Never buy from this seller — and to take the time to do this write up.

5 Stars Outstanding replacement batteries
I replaced the batteries twice in my phones previously. The new batteries lasted a while but still intermittently dropped the connection. I replaced the batteries with these Lithium Ion replacements (old ones were NICAD) and all the connection problems disappeared. The batteries life has increased quite a bit with the stronger battery (more amperage). I’m extremely satisfied with these batteries.

5 Stars BETTER PHONE BATTERY FROM ENERGIZER
I have four digital phones in the home from Panasonic and have used Radio Shack and Panasonic batteries in the past with minimal life. The Energizer battery exceeds the life of the others. I used an Energizer in the past and forgot the benefit and went with Radio Shack and was sorry for the change!!!!

Panasonic KX TS105W Corded Speakerphone White

Panasonic KX TS105W Corded Speakerphone White

The Panasonic KX-TS105W corded phone combines flexible features, sturdy construction, and a value price. A 10-number speed dial allows you to program the most frequently used numbers into the phone and dial them with the touch of a button. The speakerphone allows you to talk without having to touch the handset; a headset jack offers an additional hands-free conversation option. A data port is integrated into the base, and dial lock and call restrictions are easily programmable, making this an excellent phone for family or home-office use.

Handset and speakerphone controls allow you to adjust volume levels to your liking (the speakerphone has eight levels; the handset/headset has four), while a ringer control lets you set the ringer to off, low, or high. A flash button provides access to call waiting, and the redial feature allows you to quickly call the last outgoing number. Tone and pulse dialing modes are included. Wall-mountable, the Panasonic KX-TS105W supplies a wall mount bracket in the box, and comes backed by a one-year warranty on both parts and labor.

What’s in the Box
Base, handset, owner’s manual, wall mount bracket, modular coil cord, one long telephone line cord, quick reference guide, warranty card

4 Stars good performer
This phone uses batteries for its 20 station memory, and speakerphone power. This is a good feature because you can keep your favorites by changing batteries before they go dead(it gives you a minute to do so before losing memory)this should prevent you having to reprogram when power losses happen. All the other features work fine, and this phone sounds great.A couple of extra memory cards would have earned a 5 star rating from me.

4 Stars Some People Like Cords
I wanted a simple, corded phone, but most phones in the stores are cordless… and the ones that had cords were really expensive business models. This Panasonic model fit my needs.

I use it with my cable company’s telephone service, and it sounds great. There’s a handy volume control, so I can crank it up if I can’t hear the other party. A lot of times when I call companies, I’ll get an automated answering service, but each company sets their automated system to a different volume. This phone’s volume control helps solve that problem.

There is a handy headphone jack, but it requires a smaller headphone input than your regular headphones. (I think it’s 2.5 mm instead of 3.5 mm.) Plus you only hear sound in 1 ear… but you’re already doing that with the earpiece anyway.

There’s no caller ID, but most callers (especially telemarketeres) show up as unlisted anyway.

4 Stars just one complaint
The phone is fine – nice big buttons, a normal, old-fashioned handset that you can rest on your shoulder. BUT, you can’t put the phone on mute while it is on the speakerphone. That means, when I’m trying to take notes during a conference call, I have to either mute it and balance the phone on my shoulder or put it on speaker and pray that the dogs don’t bark.

5 Stars Great Phone – Great Price
Great phone & price. Purchased the Panasonic head set and that is 1st quality at a good price.

5 Stars Great Phone For The Price!!!
I purchased this phone because I needed a corded phone with headset capabilities for my customer service at home position. This phone has worked great and the price was EXCELLENT! It rings fine, volume controls work fine, lightweight….nothing negative from THIS critic!

Panasonic Dect 6 0 Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System 4 Handset System KX TG9344T

Panasonic Dect 6 0 Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System 4 Handset System KX TG9344T

The KX-TG9344T DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone with All-Digital Answering System lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. It also assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won’t ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in, without disturbing the person who’s sleeping. Now you don’t have to be holding the phone to see who’s calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID information is announced between rings. The KX-TG9344T also boasts a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it’s time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low, with a “please charge phone” reminder. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. So turn off the ringer and never miss a call. 3 Stars Not as good as it sounds
I have owned the KX-TG9344 phones for 6 months now and I am very disappointed. I purchased these phones to replace two Panasonic’s KX-TG5632, 5.8 GHz Digital Cordless. My wife dropped hers and busted the speaker and I cannot find a replacement speaker. So I purchased the TG-9344 in December 2008. With 4 phones we have 2 spares now, and believe me we need them. First I noticed the batteries, only 2 AAA rechargeable 630Mah each. A cheap battery for an expensive phone. We both use the speaker phone. It is very convenient and we have become reliant in using the speaker phone. I get about one hour talk time while using the speaker phone. Compared to 4 hours with the old 5.8Ghz phones. Which has a 3 battery pack that last longer. For about $30.00 I purchased 8 Duracel AAA rechargeable batteries that are 1000Mah. The phones will last about twice as long between charges.

I have arthritis in my shoulders so I purchased both phones for the use of the speaker phone.

Positive side, there are 4 phones. Charge 3 while using one.

Negative side is the absences of the Voice Enhancer that was on the 5.8GHz phone. It improved the clarity of the phone quite eminently. The TG9344 phones do not have it.

The TG9344 phone does have some extra features like talking caller ID, which is hard to understand at times. To improve this feature, program all the people who calls you regularly into the phone book, you can change the spelling of the names so they sound better when the phone announce who’s calling..

The TG9344 phone does look cheaper than the TG5632 and is a little lighter, but by only 40g, about the weight of a AAA battery. The one they left out.

A big feature is the display it’s bigger and brighter, and that makes it easier to read.

The TG9344 is a Digital Enhance Cordless Telecommunication Phone. Operating on 1.9GHz and its range is great. I tried the phone at about 100 feet from the base and the sound was as clear as if I was standing next to the base. No static and no broken words while walking around at 100 feet.

Another positive feature is the ability to block calls. Especially the callers who ignore the do not call list. Negative side you can only block 20 different numbers.

Sometimes not all the phones will ring. The batteries will be charged, the night mode will not be set and the phone will be close to the base. Three phones will ring and one will not. You can answer the call on the phone and it may ring next time, but sometimes not all the phones will ring and this happens independently to all 4 phones.

I couldn’t care less about the wall brackets. Me, I wanted to purchase a good phone not a good wall bracket.

I guess you can’t have everything in a phone but I thank Panasonic could do better. Maybe they can combine the features of both phones and build a better one.

5 Stars Panasonic KX TGA931T DECT 6.0 Cordless Phones
These phones are feature rich, clear, excellent range, excellent talk time, and a pleasure to use. While I have voice mail through my phone service provider and did not need the built in digital voice mail feature, I found a really cool thing with these phones. Our voice mail provider uses an intermittent dial tone when messages are waiting which use to require picking the phone up to know you have a message. However, I quickly discovered that these phones “flash” a light on all handsets when messages are waiting! The talk time is really long also, even with only two small two AAA NiMH batteries, these phones seem to go forever on a charge. The ear and speaker phones are both ultra clear, the best I have ever owned and I have tried quite a few. The talking caller ID is also a very nice feature which is getting lots of use saving having to run over to see who is calling. I bought the 4 handset package and we are extremely happy with these phones.

1 Star Worthless piece of junk
I purchased this “phone” and it has been a piece of junk since day 1. It flashes that I have a message every single time the phone is used…no matter whether the call is incoming or out going! The reception is terrible and there is an echo. When I wrote to Panasonic with my complaints they told me they to send it back and they would replace it with a refurbished set. I did not but a refurbished set and I didn’t have this one long enough to produce any wear (maybe 2 months before I complained) so I don’t think I should have to accept a refurbished unit as a replacement. I will NEVER buy another panasonic item…EVER!

5 Stars Good Product.
I’ve had this item for several months and I am completely satisfied with its performance for use around the house. I have not carried it outside on many occasions, but it seemed to be okay out there too (30′- 40′ from consul with no obstructions). I have used other manufactures products several years ago, but for about the last decade I’ve primarily used Panasonic because I continued to be satisfied with the design and quality of their telephone products.

4 Stars Replace our old analog system
This replaces my 10 year old Sony cordless phone.

pros

- menu for configuration

- too many new features to learn

- very clear voice reception

- do not need phone line for the other phones, just power supply to charge the phone.

- can listen to voice msg on any phones

- speaker-phone feature on the handset works very well

cons

- the base does not hold the handset well, if don’t place in properly, the handset will drop – need to redesign that.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great system
I have had this product for about 4 weeks, and am very happy with it thus far. The issues discussed in earlier reviews have not been a problem for me.

Currently, I am using this with 2 cell phones. The system automatically links to the phones as soon as you walk into the house. Great features include: intercom, speaker phone, many different ringers to program with each cell phone, talking caller ID, and ease of use.

The only complaint I have with this system is only being able to carry on one cell phone conversation at a time.

5 Stars Great Phone, Bad Rap
I purchased this phone against all bad reviews and I could not be more happy with this product. What can I say. I am writing this review in an effort to balance the reviews here. I have been using the phone for almost two months now. This phone has NEVER dropped a single phone call either cell or my Landline (actually Vonage). Generally, the base links to my Cell Phone in the carport within a minute of driving up. Most times before I enter the house.

I have noticed the farther away the cell is from the base, the worse the cellphone quality is during conversations, then again, it is bluetooth and while the connect range is greater, usefullness is a good deal less. As long as your cell phone is sitting next to the base I can walk all around the house, and even out in the yard with no quality loss.

I can not speak for all of the bad reviews here, however, I purchased a refurbished unit specifically. I have had great results in past Panasonic refurbished units. In my opinion, refurbs are quality checked BEFORE leaving out. Store bought units “new” are not. They are not individually checked and thus, I believe you get some bad apples.

Please do not take the 40 bad reviews as typical. Thousands of these units are sold around the country, and you have here a “small” percentage of problems. I do recommend if you purchase one, get a refurb unit since the value is better, and you get a unit that has already checked out as being good……and they come with a three month warranty. Still I hedged my bet and purchased a three year warranty from Square Trade.com Just in case. Looks like I will not need it anytime soon.

3 Stars *Finally* Got this thing to work!
Against my better judgment I purchased one of these from a local retailer. When I got it home I was able to get it to sync with my BlueTooth phone, but I was unable to place calls. Receive calls, ok fine. But I couldn’t dial out.

Finally I read the manual closely and found the answer on Page 35. I had to enter [Menu] #157 to disable the land line. Then I could dial the phone like a normal phone and it worked, even though my phone is not on the supported phone list. So that’s good news.

Now for the bad news. My other Panasonic DECT 6.0 handsets do not work with this base station. They pair fine but say “check line” and don’t work. It turns out model KX-TGA931T does not work with this base station. The KX-TGA930T work fine though.

I subtract 2 stars. One because you have to do special configurations to make it work without a landline (Which is why you get this thing in the first place, right?) and because that info is buried on page 35. One star knocked off due to compatibility with other Panasonic DECT 6.0 handsets.

1 Star Great Idea – Terrible Execution
I wanted this phone to work – and even went through an exchange / replacement process when it didn’t. But simply put, it will drop your calls – both landline and cell. It just doesn’t work, and will be an endless source of frustration for you and the people you call.

1 Star Good Idea Gone BAD
Before you THINK about buying this Panasonic KX-TH1211 Link-to-Cell phone:

A) Read the other reviews

B) Check to see if your phone is supported (it probably isn’t) at [...] There’s a link at the bottom of that page. The list of phones supported is shocking short.

I did get the KX-TH1211 to work with my Blackberry Curve 8310. It receives calls just fine. The sound quality is good. But I still can’t get the KX-TH1211 to let me dial an outgoing call from from the Panasonic handset.

My primary phone is a Palm Treo 750, which is not on the list.

The KX-TH1211 is an embarrassment to the Panasonic brand.
