OK, here’s the thing.
I have my VCR hooked up to my stereo so I can listen to the TV audio through my stereo. But whatever is on TV is in mono! However, when I watch a DVD or a VHS, the sound will be in stereo. Here’s some info:
I have digital cable that comes in through the phone line. I have the box hooked up to my VCR via coax cable. i have the VCR hooked to my TV [CRT] via coax cable as well.
I have the DVD player hooked to the VCR, via RCA cable.
Then i have the stereo hooked to the VCR, via RCA cable, from the VCR’s audio output. it is a stereo VCR, and when I watch a tape or DVD, the sound will be stereo, but when i watch TV, the sound will be in mono. Why is this?
