From what I understand, the job is to assist in listing, shipping, and similar tasks for items. The listing will be mainly done on ebay.
I'm not sure what the pay for this job should be. Please help give me your honest, thought opinion. What title is this position called?
Thanks so much for your help.

Hi. I have a job opening for someone to post auctions on ebay and then handle the shipping post-auction. It's mainly high-end electronics but I sell a variety of things. I don't know if this type of a job would interest you but please let me know if it does. Thanks, Ken Hi Gabriel. Thanks for responding. Yes it would require coming in, at least at first, to handle the shipping of the items but the hours would be flexible. Most of the postings can be done from anywhere. I'm located in the valley, right now in Studio City but I'm moving into offices in North Hollywood this week. This week, Ill probably need about 40 or so things auctioned but it should easily move up to 100 or more very soon. But many of the items are duplicates which need to be first posted in an ebay store and then turned over to auction like once a week. My phone number is 232-496-2990 if you want to hear more about what I'm looking for. Thanks, Ken Hi Gabriel. Here's an even better example of what I need. Here's the list of an auction I already won so I'll probably need these posted this week or next. I know it's hard to decipher but there's an Olympus digital camera, a PSP player, an HP Printer, a nintendo DS lite, guitar hero for xbox, a karaoke machine etc. Obviously from the list it's impossible to tell what brand everything is but I'm looking for someone who understands Ebay well enough who can quickly look at an item or be told what it is and put up a nice posting for it without spending too much time on it. I buy these auction lots because of the price, not the contents. I'll buy almost anything if I"m sure I can sell it on ebay or CL and it isn't too much of a hassle to ship. So I'm constantly posting new things. Hope that helps you understand what I'm looking for. Thanks, Ken Hi Gabriel. This will be a long term job. It's actually a good opportunity for someone, especially someone with your skill set but we can talk more about that later. I built a proto-type for this business all last year with smaller items. I used the ebay name... That's the account will 5000 feedback that we can use. I'm only now moving up to higher priced postings. But I've been running businesses on the internet for ten years that involve marketplaces and economics. I was actually the first person to realize that the currency in games like WoW was worth real money and I spent many years building a virtual currency exchange. But this was years before WoW existed. Anyways, you are welcome to google me if you want to learn more about me. My last name is Selden and I'm also a screenwriter so you'll get a lot of hits for the films I wrote but if you search under Ken Selden economist you'll probably get some hits about my internet ventures. I'm renting the space this week. I looked at two spaces on Friday. I didn't really need space until this week when the first shipments start coming in. The items will by and large be items that are easy to sell. I don't buy lots that I don't believe can be turned over fast on ebay. I'm planning to buy quite a bit over the last few weeks and I'm guessing that in a month there will be too much for one person to handle. How were you looking to be paid? Per post or per hour? I'm open to either. If you're interested in hourly, what were you looking to make? Hope that answers your questions. You do sound like the right person for this job. Best, Ken
