4 Stars Nice phones
These are nice phones. Easy to use. Voices are clear. The only thing I don’t like much is that they don’t ring loud enough.

5 Stars The MattMan reviews a phone
This phone is totally awesome! Great display, lots of bells and whistles. If you have ever owned a cordless phone before, and the battery dies, so you open the back of the phone only to find a “battery pack”. You look every where and no one carries “that” battery pack. Well…, finally Panasonic got smart and did something about that. This phone comes with plain old Nickel-Metal Hydride Rechargeable AAA Batteries! No more battery pack! In a few years when the original batteries no linger hold a charge I’ll just replace them with easy to find NiMH AAA batteries.

4 Stars Just What I Needed…
I bought these phones to replace my GE set that died after only 2 years. I’ve had these phones about 3 months, but already I like them so much better. They sound so much clearer and the screen is definitely easier to read then my old set.

The only downside I’ve found is the caller ID list is in an awkward place. Many phones have a one-touch button that takes you right to your list, but this doesn’t…there’s a little more scrolling involved. Certainly not the end of the world though. Overall, this phone works great. I absolutely recommend this for an easy to use home phone set.

5 Stars Great cordless phones
Purchased to replace GE DECT 6.0 phone that was not that great. Have 2 cordless Panasonic 2.4 ghz that are great, love Panasonic products.

This phone system does not disappoint. Big easy to read display, large buttons, reasonably comfortable to talk with though I usually use the speaker phone.

Easy to program and adding numbers to one phone automaticly sends to the other so no need to store numbers on more than one phone.

Uses rechargable AAA batteries, seems like a nice idea will see as the units are used and need battery replacement. Should be easier to find these types of batteries than a phone specific battery.

All in all this is a great set, I have ordered two additional handsets and am very pleased with this phone

1 Star Description was deceiving…
I bought this phone with the express purpose to provide an answering machine for contacting a family member who was not able to afford an answering machine at this time. I was very disappointed and frustrated that it did not live up to the discription on Amazon’s site. As far as I know the phone is everything described, but no answering machine was included with the purchase of:Panasonic Dect 6.0 Dark Grey Cordless Phone with Answering Machine (KX-TG6412M)

The answering machine feature is only available when the base TGA6421 is included. This information is taken from the user manual from the phone I bought. Now I have to decide whether to keep this phone as a back-up for my family member or return it to get the features I thought I had already purchased.

This is the first time I have been disappointed with a purchase from Amazon and I have been a big fan of their selections and service for several years.

5 Stars Nice phone for the money
I read through the reviews here on Amazon, but personally, I don’t have a problem with anything mentioned so far. I like the size of the handset… My last Panasonic 2-line cordless (KX-TG2480) has a huge bulky handset which, by the way, started having problems; keypad stopped working properly. I was a bit skeptical to buy another, but I like this phone and I’ve generally had good luck with Panasonic products.

Anyway, setup was a breeze. You can record different outgoing messages for each line which is nice. Outgoing message sound quality is typical…Not any worse than my Uniden at home. Speaker phone with handset or base; Keypad on base; Intercom; Check messages remotely; Conference call; Caller ID… What else do you need?

4 Stars Good, solid phone
This is the 2nd one of these I’ve bought. Works well, good range. Took some manual reading on the first one to figure out the menu system. Minor annoyance is that the ‘missed calls’ counter seems to count all calls, but I’m not sure, and it doesn’t matter to me anyway. Speakerphone on each handset works very well. Got the new one through Amazon at the same price as used ones were auctioning for on eBay.

4 Stars wish buttons and handset were bigger
I bought this phone as a replacement for a motorola MD681 cordless phone that I loved (I still have the phone but after 4 years the “6″ button is not working so well). I bought the Panasonic kx-tg6700b as it offered many of the features the my previous phone had.

Ok… here is my review of the GOOD STUFF… the phone has great range of about 400 feet in open yard area in a major city, it has light up buttons, speaker phone in the handset and very little to no interference heard while talking… even with DSL service and a filter. The dual antenna on the base does seem to provide for good coverage in all directions

Now my impression of the bad… the handset is slippery to hold by hand or on your shoulder, the voice enhancer so far seems to be a joke of a feature, the soft key buttons are hard to push with my working man’s fingers, the base does not seem to be able to be used without power or battery backup, and if you do not need this phone for a second line look for another phone as the handset is always asking you to select line 1 or line 2 (initial settings can help with this problem but not eliminate the issue) . To be honest I only use this phone for 1 phone line but I bought it because the other Panasonic phones I looked at did not have light up buttons.

The price of $55.00 (refurbished) shipping included is a very good deal for the phone, especially if you need a 2 line cordless expandable phone.

I would recommend this phone to the “right” person, but I’ll admit that I would have already returned this phone if it wasn’t for the restocking fee of 15% and return shipping costs.

Hope this helps.

4 Stars Very Satisfied
The product meets all of my expectations. It was delivered before the date promised by Amazon.

4 Stars 2 Line Phone with Answering Machine
I bought this to try it out. They are available with an accesory phone and base. I bought the single phone and was so pleased I went back and bought the accesory after the positive experience. I would tell you to price out a set sold together because its a great product and it would probaly be cheaper that way. By the way, I accidentaly clicked on 4 stars and there is no way to go back and change it to 5 stars. That is what I meant to do…..Good Luck.

4 Stars Just needs a lit display
Good solid product. Functions well. Great for power outages, since it doesn’t need to be plugged into an AC outlet (Battery powered). The only drawback was the unlit display (can’t see in dim light or darkness). A longer handset cord would be nice too.

5 Stars Like this phone
I got this phone for my wife to use in her office. She has a bluetooth earpiece connected to it , and she loves them both. She can roam about the house talking with no problems.

The phone was easy to set up and has several ways to adjust volumn. i would recommend this phone to anyone, just 25 bucks.

4 Stars Great User Friendly Phone
So far, this phone has been easy to use. I like having a corded phone on the kitchen wall in case of a power failure. The display is large and easy to read and the sound quality is very good.

5 Stars Basic functions, easy to install & slick design.
Wanted a basic analog phone w/ no frills. The product is very clean in design and is affordable.

1 Star Caller ID Liquid Crystal display failure
After one year the liquid crystal display failed. Now it is impossible to use the caller ID.

3 Stars Cord is way too short
Product sounds good and pretty well made. The cord is too short for use on a desk phone, but would likely be good for use with a cell phone.

4 Stars I love this headset
I have broken so many headsets. This one is great. I have two of them now. It is truly heavy duty.

5 Stars A headset that works.
Very pleased with this headset. Comfortable, collapsible, I can hear everyone, and they can hear me. Not so with alot of other headsets. Affordable too.

3 Stars Compatible with My Dect6 Phone but not with My Head
A folding headset sounded like just the ticket to go with my new Dect6 phones. As with so many products, the hype was better than the actual product. Here’s my take on this headset:

Pros:

1. Sound quality is good compared to other headsets I’ve used. No problems here.

2. With the volume control on my phone and the volume control on the headset, I can up the volume sufficiently to hear over most background noise. In quiet rooms, the headset can be adjusted to provide more volume than I wil ever need.

3. Light-weight, so it’s no problem to carry around.

Cons:

1. While I expected the folding feature to be a big benefit, turns out it’s not so great when you first need to answer the phone. Rather than just slip on the headset and talk, you need to unfold it, untangle the cord, adjust it to your head, and, finally, talk. I won’t be getting a foldable headset again.

2. The headset is not too small for my head, so I don’t get a headache from using it . . . IF I can keep it on my head. The pad on the side opposite the earpiece is convex rather concave like it should be. The result is that this headset easily slides off my head, and I find myself needing to adjust it several times during a call. When that happens I’m concentrating more on keeping the headset on than on the conversation I should be paying attention to.

Having to do it over again, I would revert to the Plantronics headset I have used for years. However, this Panasonic headset is serviceable for people with medium to large heads.

5 Stars Sounds good, no problems
Parties on the other end say it sounds just like I’m talking normally on the phone. Sound is great through ear speaker also. No frills, just works like it is supposed to.
