Very durable, good sound and the 3 phones are perfect for my home. I have one upstairs and two downstairs. They have gotten through so much abuse and are still ticking. Imagine having 3 teenage boys!

5 Stars The best!!
I have the base and three stations. This is so easy to use & program. Excellent manual. I especially like the ability to store all my business and friends and family on an easy to use built in phone book. It’s not at all like a speed dial. After entering the name, and your choice of one or two numbers, (home or cell #) or whatever. Hit the phone book icon and the first letter of the persons name and find all your aunts & uncles.. You can program incoming ring sounds so you can tell if it friend or foe before you pick up. Don’t want it to ring while your asleep, no problem. Want it to automatically upon pick up to be able to talk, no button press. No problem.. There are so many cool and programmable features with this phone system I could go on and on.

1 Star DO NOT PURCHASE bf READING THIS
read all over the internet about this phone to ensure I wasn’t making a mistake. Well I did the line 1 echoes and after ensuring it was not my phone provider, I typed in the model number and the word echo. I found lots of people have had the same problem that I did right out of the box. I tried to contact Uniden support which they responded within 2 days expect gave me info that didn’t resolve my problem, so I told them that what they said did not resolve my problem, they replied with hours with a solution which didn’t work. I would not purchase this product.

4 Stars Pleasant Surprise
I was pleasantly surprised with Panasonic Dect 6.0 Series with 3 handsets. Easy to set up, sound quality good, buttons easy to read, intercom is a nice feature. Only drawback–I miss my speed dials. Would recommend to any and all………worth not having the speed dials.

I purchased this item because i was fed up with my earlier cordless phones. this phone works great. It lies close to my computer, yet there is no disturbance. lines are clear. i have had it only for a month so I hope it lasts. but it is a good product.

3 Stars Poor features, decent quality
First the quality, it seems to work fine. The speaker phone and regular phone all work without issue so far. Volume can be low for the hard of hearing but it is clear.

My problem with this phone system is the features and usability quirks.

1. The base has no speaker phone (I knew this before buying).

2. Each handset will display “N Missed Calls” until you manually go through each missed call in the CID list and erase them one by one. Once you’ve done this the handset will display the date/time which is what I would expect. There is no, erase all feature.

3. The phone system rings at a serious delay. The caller may have waited one to two rings before you actually hear it.

4. Both the listening and ringer volumes don’t get very loud.

5. The usability of speaker phone is odd. You cannot toggle it. Instead hitting the speaker phone button does nothin if speaker phone is already on. You have to hit the talk button to turn off speaker phone.

6. The customer service menu item give you a internet URL instead of dialing customer service for you. I don’t consider this a minus because at least something is on there.

7. The base set has no display. You can’t view CIDs or manage anything from it visually.

8. The belt/shoulder piece on the back of the phone is to thin to be useful for anything.

It’s not that this is a bad phone system. It’s that there are a lot better designed phone systems out there. This is my first 1.9 GHZ phone but as for the 5.8 GHZ systems the Uniden TRU-8885-3 5.8 GHz Digital Cordless Phone System has much better features and usability. We had that system for about 6 years without issue. The batteries were starting to get flakey so we decided it was time to “upgrade”. We sacrificed a lot of functionality for 1.9 GHZ which I hear absolutely no difference.

I don’t recommend buying old tech but be careful with these Amazon reviews. It seems people will give anything that’s shiney and does the basic job of a phone a 5 star rating.

this phone is cool but it really lacks range. i would have thought i could go further before losing calls..nope. Each phone has a individual phone book which could be cool in certain situations but is a real pain because every phone in my house has different numbers. it is a pain to sync each phone with the household phone book. if i grab the wrong phone it may not have the number i need in it. the answering unit is only ok it does not have very user friendly controls for saving or reviewing messages after a period of time.

4 Stars Great choice for a small office
Great choice for a small office:

- Support for 2 lines is a significant plus, especially given very moderate pricing

- Tiny footprint for the “base”

- The base has the same, fully usable cordless handset (vs. a separate useless corded base in earlier models)

- Speakerphone on each handset very helpful when dealing with extended waiting time on the line…

- Good sound quality

- Processes the FLASH button correctly for Vonage lines (call wait feature & three-way calls)

(We do not use auto-answering mode, because we are using Vonage – works great with the Vonage box, supporting both lines.)

Cons:

- The only ones discovered so far are minor: the base has an LCD display, BUT this display shows neither the current time (when inactive), nor the call time (when speaking). So it was added for no obvious purpose…

1 Star Not Reliable
The phone is OK but I have 5 handsets and 3 have failed over 1 1/2 years – terrible reliability. And todate Panasonic has not been very helpful.

1 Star Save your money!!
After about 1 year the buttons on the base, which only get used for checking messages at my house, started to fail. Problem probably occurred even prior to the 1 year mark, but I didn’t notice until it affected the message playback button. Once I discovered the issue, I attempted to power reset the base at which point the entire unit “locked up” and could no longer be used. Panasonic’s solution was send it in for repair, be without my phone for however long that takes, and all at my cost since I was outside the warranty period.

Please, save your money!!! Don’t get stuck with a $200+ phone (I purchased additional handsets) that you can’t even use. I loved the phone while it was working, but it’s only a matter of time until it fails.

2 Stars cordless memoryless
I find this phone system OK with a few flaws: if the power blinks you loose the the time memory of your missed calls, The phone book does not have enough memory and the caller ID will not remember your numbers and associate with your phone book, Then there are the missed call display, any call answered by another handset comes up missed call!

The sound quality and range is good as well as battery life. Not for a business.

4 Stars Great Little Phone
Phone is well made, easy to use and program, and has good range in my large apartment. Signal reaches through concrete and brick walls. Sound quality is fine. The only negative is that the lcd monitor is a little hard to read.

1 Star What a lemon!
This phone is a complete disappointment. If I don’t maintain a line of sight with the base I start getting static. Close the door of the room where the base is, more static. Go around the corner into another room, I might as well be talking from Antarctica. The channel switching is totally useless. What’s the point of it being cordless if I have to be within a few feet to get decent reception? I’m returning this thing as soon as possible.

5 Stars Well worth the money
I wanted an extra phone for the bedroom and this one works very well. Although it was not the absolute cheapest, it was very reasonably priced. There is absolutely no reason to pay more for a simple cordless one line phone!!! It is attractive and takes up only a little space. The connection is very good and the caller ID works well. I highly recommend this product.

I needed an inexpensive cordless phone for my kitchen. I was very pleased with this one. Didn’t even have to charge it up overnight. It even has Caller ID and Call Waiting ID features. Would highly recommend as a secondary phone.
