3 Stars ahh–ok
this phone is cool but it really lacks range. i would have thought i could go further before losing calls..nope. Each phone has a individual phone book which could be cool in certain situations but is a real pain because every phone in my house has different numbers. it is a pain to sync each phone with the household phone book. if i grab the wrong phone it may not have the number i need in it. the answering unit is only ok it does not have very user friendly controls for saving or reviewing messages after a period of time.

4 Stars Great choice for a small office
Great choice for a small office:

- Support for 2 lines is a significant plus, especially given very moderate pricing

- Tiny footprint for the “base”

- The base has the same, fully usable cordless handset (vs. a separate useless corded base in earlier models)

- Speakerphone on each handset very helpful when dealing with extended waiting time on the line…

- Good sound quality

- Processes the FLASH button correctly for Vonage lines (call wait feature & three-way calls)

(We do not use auto-answering mode, because we are using Vonage – works great with the Vonage box, supporting both lines.)

Cons:

- The only ones discovered so far are minor: the base has an LCD display, BUT this display shows neither the current time (when inactive), nor the call time (when speaking). So it was added for no obvious purpose…

1 Star Not Reliable
The phone is OK but I have 5 handsets and 3 have failed over 1 1/2 years – terrible reliability. And todate Panasonic has not been very helpful.

1 Star Save your money!!
After about 1 year the buttons on the base, which only get used for checking messages at my house, started to fail. Problem probably occurred even prior to the 1 year mark, but I didn’t notice until it affected the message playback button. Once I discovered the issue, I attempted to power reset the base at which point the entire unit “locked up” and could no longer be used. Panasonic’s solution was send it in for repair, be without my phone for however long that takes, and all at my cost since I was outside the warranty period.

Please, save your money!!! Don’t get stuck with a $200+ phone (I purchased additional handsets) that you can’t even use. I loved the phone while it was working, but it’s only a matter of time until it fails.

2 Stars cordless memoryless
I find this phone system OK with a few flaws: if the power blinks you loose the the time memory of your missed calls, The phone book does not have enough memory and the caller ID will not remember your numbers and associate with your phone book, Then there are the missed call display, any call answered by another handset comes up missed call!

The sound quality and range is good as well as battery life. Not for a business.

5 Stars Nice phone for the money
I read through the reviews here on Amazon, but personally, I don’t have a problem with anything mentioned so far. I like the size of the handset… My last Panasonic 2-line cordless (KX-TG2480) has a huge bulky handset which, by the way, started having problems; keypad stopped working properly. I was a bit skeptical to buy another, but I like this phone and I’ve generally had good luck with Panasonic products.

Anyway, setup was a breeze. You can record different outgoing messages for each line which is nice. Outgoing message sound quality is typical…Not any worse than my Uniden at home. Speaker phone with handset or base; Keypad on base; Intercom; Check messages remotely; Conference call; Caller ID… What else do you need?

4 Stars Good, solid phone
This is the 2nd one of these I’ve bought. Works well, good range. Took some manual reading on the first one to figure out the menu system. Minor annoyance is that the ‘missed calls’ counter seems to count all calls, but I’m not sure, and it doesn’t matter to me anyway. Speakerphone on each handset works very well. Got the new one through Amazon at the same price as used ones were auctioning for on eBay.

4 Stars wish buttons and handset were bigger
I bought this phone as a replacement for a motorola MD681 cordless phone that I loved (I still have the phone but after 4 years the “6″ button is not working so well). I bought the Panasonic kx-tg6700b as it offered many of the features the my previous phone had.

Ok… here is my review of the GOOD STUFF… the phone has great range of about 400 feet in open yard area in a major city, it has light up buttons, speaker phone in the handset and very little to no interference heard while talking… even with DSL service and a filter. The dual antenna on the base does seem to provide for good coverage in all directions

Now my impression of the bad… the handset is slippery to hold by hand or on your shoulder, the voice enhancer so far seems to be a joke of a feature, the soft key buttons are hard to push with my working man’s fingers, the base does not seem to be able to be used without power or battery backup, and if you do not need this phone for a second line look for another phone as the handset is always asking you to select line 1 or line 2 (initial settings can help with this problem but not eliminate the issue) . To be honest I only use this phone for 1 phone line but I bought it because the other Panasonic phones I looked at did not have light up buttons.

The price of $55.00 (refurbished) shipping included is a very good deal for the phone, especially if you need a 2 line cordless expandable phone.

I would recommend this phone to the “right” person, but I’ll admit that I would have already returned this phone if it wasn’t for the restocking fee of 15% and return shipping costs.

Hope this helps.

4 Stars Very Satisfied
The product meets all of my expectations. It was delivered before the date promised by Amazon.

4 Stars 2 Line Phone with Answering Machine
I bought this to try it out. They are available with an accesory phone and base. I bought the single phone and was so pleased I went back and bought the accesory after the positive experience. I would tell you to price out a set sold together because its a great product and it would probaly be cheaper that way. By the way, I accidentaly clicked on 4 stars and there is no way to go back and change it to 5 stars. That is what I meant to do…..Good Luck.

2 Stars A little bit louder now
I purchased the Clarity w1000 to overcome the noise from a room air conditioner. It usually worked adequately for this task. However, sometimes or perhaps often a little more volume would have been useful. On my phone line, increased volume quickly turns into quite a bit of noise and hiss. This is more annoying than straining to hear the caller. My Panasonic KX-TG 5421 cordless phone with voice enhancer turns out to work better than the w1000. I probably should have returned the w1000.

5 Stars unbelievable
Try to find a corded phone is difficult these days. I actually found the Plantronics / Walker W1000 phone at WalMart in Rice Lake, WI (715-234-6990) for $34.88. Brought it home, plugged it in and tried it out. Seems to work great. This version of the product is documented as offering up to 26dB amplification. Elsewhere on amazon i found the W1000 with 33dB amplification, so perhaps I purchased a ‘remaindered’ version. I could not find the W1000 on the WalMart website.

3 Stars Lack of belt clip makes me unsatisfied
Overall nice phone but it is REALLY annoying to pay $13 extra for a belt clip. That piece of plastic should have come included.

5 Stars Excellent
First Item was DOA which Amazon quickly remedied. Has been running for almost 2 years with 5 handsets in my busy house with a standard Telco line on Line1 and a VoIP provider on Line 2 for periodic working from home situations so I don’t tie up the primary line.

Good sound quality as well I use a plantronics wired headset with my office unit for lengthy concalls and conversations.

Originally used a 2 Line Panasonic 2.4Ghz system KX-TGA2000 prior to this and it lasted for 5 years of great service.

4 Stars Panasonic cordless handset
Phone works well. Because I am able to use it in a room without a phone jack, I can place it in any room in which I would like to keep a telephone. All I have to do is plug in the base. The sound may be a little less than crystal clear, but it is certainly clear enough.

5 Stars Panasonic KX-TGA670B
Added a fourth handset to the system, originally purchased about a year ago. Absolutely no complaints. Coverage is excellent throughout the house, garage and back yard, voice quality as good as any wired phone, battery life excellent. Perhaps a little pricy, but it is a 2 line phone. I have no problem paying for a quality product.

3 Stars Buy a cell phone
I wouldn’t be buying another one of these had the original not quit working. Why do I have a land line anyways? I carry a cell phone with me everywhere….

The KX-TG6074B is an expandable digital cordless answering system with 4 handsets. When a call comes in, this phone doesn’t just let you see who’s calling, it actually tells you who’s calling with Talking Caller ID. Using text-to-speech technology, the caller’s name is announced between rings if name/number Caller ID information is available. With SlowTalk message playback, you’ll never miss important information again. You can slow down the playback speed of recorded messages by 30 percent at the touch of a button. And with this system’s all-digital answering system, those messages will alreadybe crystal clear and easy to retrieve, with up to 18 minutes of recording time.By simulating a band signal above and below the normal bandwidth limitations, Voice Enhancer Technology helps clarify and improve sound reception creating a natural-sounding voice that is easy to hear and understand.

5 Stars great buy
have had phones for awhile now and they work great. Easy to set up (let kid do it) so far real good even going outside and up the street good deal and great price!

5 Stars excellent phone system
This phone system works as advertised. I have had no interference problems related to our wireless network, and the batteries seem to have a very long use time per charge. The talking caller ID is nice, but can also be quirky. It will try to pronounce acronyms if it encounters them – our local hospital is abbreviated ARH, and the phone system makes it sound as if a pirate is calling (Aaaarrhhh!) All in all, I am very satisfied.

4 Stars Christy
So far I have been very satisfied with my purchase. The main reason I purchased this product was the fact that it was Panasonic and I wanted the extra extensions. It is very clear and I am pleased. Panasonic makes a good product. The only negative is that I wished the key pads would light up, but that is a minor thing for me.

4 Stars Great small 2 line phone system
I purchased this system replacing a fairly new Motorola 2 line system that I just about threw out the window. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase the Panasonic 2line system. I am very happy with the quality of the phone, the top 3 small black buttons are sometimes hard to depress, but otherwise the phone is extremely user friendly. Has great features and voice clarity is excellent in both callers and speakerphone. So far I am very happy with my purchase. BTW I worked for a very large telecommunications company for many years and was a huge fan of both AT&T and Uniden phones, sorry to say the quality and workmanship are no longer found in both these phone systems. I am happy I went along with the most positive reviews on the Panasonic 2 line phone. So far so good

5 Stars Great phone
We’re very happy with these phones. The voice caller ID is a cool novelty.
