Ok I have a wireless router that I use to go online with my 360. I got the router near 2 weeks ago. My 360 is upstairs and my router is downstairs. We have 1 computer and there is also 1 360 that sometimes uses the wired connection. This week i've been having issues connecting. When my phone rings-it disconnects me and won't let me reconnect until the call is done. NOW it's disconnecting when the phone is in use period and it's disconnected me like 10 times today. I restarted my modem and my router and checked my adapter and what not. I don't know what the problem is. We have digital cable and a digital phone. Any opinions on what I should do people? It feels like the phone is interfering with my connection.
I have roadrunner high speed net just so people know. And looking at peoples answers-the phone seems to be the problem. I may sound dumb but where can I view the settings for my router? I can't find it in my computer. When I put the disc in to install it-it gives me options and settings but when I put it in the other day it didn't work. I will try checking the settings and my 360 says it's on channel 1 though the one day said it was on channel 6 but I haven't changed anything. If I can't change the settings or that doesn't work i'll look into the seperate modem. Thanks for the help guys.

I have a friend that has Comcast High Speed Internet. It is a arris cable modem with phone lines built in for comcast digital Voice. The problem is that they want to hook up a wireless router. But the modem requires a Static IP. And we got the information from the Local Area Connection. But we tried THREE routers, and all of them only work for only three days then quit. And DHCP will not work, we tried it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
